Kevin Nagy

Kevin Nagy has over 25 years of work experience in the environmental and regulatory compliance field. Kevin has worked at various organizations such as Cameco Corporation, the Government of Saskatchewan, Swampy Cree Tribal Council, and Hudson Bay Mining and Smelting Co. Ltd.

At Cameco Corporation, Kevin served as the Director of Compliance and Licensing - Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality, where they led a team of specialists providing regulatory compliance and licensing oversight for mining and milling operations. Kevin also developed licensing strategies for existing operations and engaged with regulatory agencies and stakeholders.

Prior to that, they were the Manager of Environment and Licensing at Cameco, where they managed a team of specialists in areas of regulatory compliance, environmental monitoring, risk assessment, and decommissioning planning.

Kevin also has experience at the Government of Saskatchewan as an Environmental Project Officer, where they conducted inspections, developed permits, and engaged with stakeholders at mining and milling operations.

Earlier in their career, they worked at the Swampy Cree Tribal Council as an Environmental Technologist and at Hudson Bay Mining and Smelting Co. Ltd as an Environmental Technician.

Kevin Nagy obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Biology, General from the University of Saskatchewan from 1986 to 1991. Kevin then pursued a Diploma in Water Resources Engineering Technology from the Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Science & Technology from 1991 to 1994. Lastly, they completed a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Environment and Management from Royal Roads University from 2002 to 2004.
