Hendrik Simmering

Hendrik Simmering is an experienced legal and compliance professional currently serving as the Head of Legal and Sustainability at Fürstlich Castell’sche Bank, Credit-Casse AG since January 2017, with responsibilities as General Counsel and Chief Sustainability Officer. Prior to this role, Hendrik held positions at Universal-Investment as Head of Legal and Compliance and Director of Legal & Compliance from June 2009 to December 2016, and at Helaba Invest Kapitalanlagegesellschaft mbH as Legal Counsel from March 2008 to May 2009. The career began in the banking sector with an apprenticeship at Die Sparkasse Bremen AG from September 1997 to January 2000. Academic achievements include a Certificate of Completion in Sustainable Investing from Harvard Business School Online and a Master of Business Administration from the German Graduate School of Management and Law, among other qualifications in law and compliance.
