Yulkendy Valdez is a dynamic entrepreneur and leader with extensive experience in supporting underrepresented founders and fostering BIPOC talent. Currently serving as a Startup Partner Manager for Google for Startups via Magnit, Valdez oversees initiatives that provide non-dilutive cash awards and support to at-risk founders. As Co-Founder of Phenomenal Talent, Valdez focuses on creating impactful experiences for BIPOC talent and promoting economic freedom. Additionally, Valdez holds positions as City Leads Program Manager at LaFamilia Foundation, a Fellow and Alumni Contractor at Camelback Ventures, and roles at 4.0 Schools and One Young World, contributing to a range of programs aimed at empowering young leaders and entrepreneurs. Valdez's earlier experience includes a Product Manager role at Visible Hands and as an Entrepreneur In Residence at Get Sh!t Done. Valdez earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus on Global Business Management and Social Responsibility from Babson College.

Camelback Ventures aims to diversify social innovation, by giving underrepresented, early-stage entrepreneurs access to the tools they need to be successful. Camelback was built with the notion that genius is equally distributed across communities, but access to funding and start-up mentoring is often limited in communities of color and with women. Camelback provides entrepreneurs with greater access to resources.
