Beth Brown Sphr

Beth Brown, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, has over 19 years of experience in human resources and marketing. Beth is currently the Vice President of Human Resources at Cameron Ashley Building Products since May 2019. Prior to that, they served as the Vice President of Human Resources at Paxton Access Inc - Americas from November 2016 to October 2018.

Before joining Paxton Access, Beth worked at Shealy Electrical Wholesalers, Inc. for 16 years. Beth held various positions including Director of Human Resources, where they directed and oversaw HR activities for 18 locations, and Director of Marketing and Human Resources, where they managed HR activities for 13 locations and oversaw employee compensation and benefit plans. Beth also initiated and created the HR department at Shealy Electrical Wholesalers and improved the customer experience across multiple locations. Overall, they have a strong background in HR management and strategic planning in a changing corporate environment.

Beth Brown, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Marketing and Management from the University of South Carolina Darla Moore School of Business from 1996 to 2000. In addition to their degree, they also received the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification from HRCI/SHRM, and the SHRM-SCP certification from SHRM in December 2015.
