John McArthur

John McArthur is president of Cameron University in Lawton-Fort Sill, Oklahoma, with a branch in Duncan. Cameron University is a public institution of higher education with an enrollment of approximately 4,000. Falling under the governance of the Board of Regents for the University of Oklahoma, Cameron University and Rogers State University, Cameron offers associate, bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nearly 50 program areas.

At the state level, Dr. McArthur is a member of the Council of Presidents for the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education.

Dr. McArthur served as a faculty member in physics, computer science, and mathematics at Southeastern Oklahoma State University and Colorado State University-Pueblo before joining Cameron University in 2004.
