Alexandra Plascencia

Alexandra Plascencia has extensive work experience in the field of mental health counseling. Alexandra began their career in 2010 as a Lead Preschool Teacher at Westminster Child Care Center, where they worked until 2017. In 2016, they started working at Camino Nuevo Charter Academy, initially as a Marriage and Family Therapy Intern. Over the years, they advanced to roles such as Mental Health Counselor, Clinical Supervisor, and currently holds the position of Director of Mental Health. In 2020, they also joined Arroyo Seco Family Therapy Inc. as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. Through their various positions, Alexandra has gained valuable experience and expertise in providing mental health support and counseling.

Alexandra Plascencia completed their Master of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy/Counseling from Pacific Oaks College. Alexandra attended the college from 2014 to 2017. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Child Development from California State University, Los Angeles, where they studied from 2008 to 2013. In addition to their degrees, Alexandra also holds a certification as a Marriage and Family Therapist from the Board of Behavioral Sciences, which they obtained in September 2020.
