Chair – Special Projects And Community Collaboration at Camosun College

Kyle Preston is an experienced professional with a diverse background in education, community collaboration, and trades. Currently serving as Chair of Special Projects and Community Collaboration at Camosun College, Kyle focuses on promoting equity in trades to enhance access and representation in technical training. Prior roles include Apprenticeship Advisor at SkilledTradesBC, where engagement with industry stakeholders helped build awareness of the BC apprenticeship system, and Learning Advisor at Camosun College, providing essential skills to pre-apprenticeship learners. Kyle has also contributed to educational development as Chair of the Education Development Committee at CCFCC Victoria, and held various managerial and coordinator positions across health care and event services. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Commerce in Entrepreneurial Management from Royal Roads University and a Journeyman Red Seal in Professional Cook Training from Camosun College.
