Marshall Dickey, CTRS has a diverse work experience in various organizations, showcasing strong leadership and program management skills. In 2011, Marshall served as a College Staff Leader at Ozark Mission Project. The following year, they worked as a Summer Camp Counselor at Lake Nixon Day Camp. Marshall then became a Weekend Operation Facilitator at C.A. Vines Arkansas 4-H Center in 2012. In the same year, they also took on the role of Maintenance Supervisor at Otter Creek Homeowners Association. Marshall worked as a Zipline Guide at Rowdy Adventures in 2014 before joining Arkansas 4-H Programs as an ExCEL Intern in 2015. From 2016 to 2021, Marshall served as a Therapeutic Recreation Specialist at the City of Little Rock where they managed and monitored part-time employees, developed and implemented recreational programs, and created partnerships with local organizations. After that, Marshall became a Programs Facilitator at the University of Arkansas System Cooperative Extension Service. Currently, Marshall is working as an Assistant Program Manager at Camp Aldersgate Inc. starting in 2023.

Marshall Dickey, CTRS, has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Recreation Management from Henderson State University, which they obtained from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, from 2012 to 2013, they attended the University of Arkansas - Pulaski Technical College, and from 2011 to 2012, they attended the University of Central Arkansas. In 2010 to 2011, Marshall studied at Arkansas State University. Before pursuing higher education, they completed their high school education at Parkview Arts & Science High School from 2007 to 2010.

In addition to their formal education, Marshall has obtained several certifications. In December 2014, they became a Water Safety Instructor through Red Cross, and in May 2015, they obtained certification in CPR. Marshall is also an Aquatic fitness Instructor certified by FiTOUR. Furthermore, Marshall holds a certification as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) from the NATIONAL COUNCIL FOR THERAPEUTIC RECREATION CERTIFICATION INC. Additionally, Marshall has training as a Lifeguard/First Aid provider through Red Cross.
