Vasile Mare

Vasile Mare is an experienced software engineering leader, currently serving as the Head of Software Engineering at Camp Australia since September 2025. Prior to this role, Vasile held the same title at Kogan.com from August 2021 to September 2025. Vasile's extensive career at MYOB spanned nearly 14 years, during which various roles included Engineering Manager, Development Manager, Development Lead, Application Architect, and Senior Software Developer/Scrum Master. Additionally, Vasile co-founded Ulpia Software, serving as Software Architect from January 2008 to January 2014, and worked as an Analyst Programmer at Comacc from November 2005 to November 2007. Vasile holds a Bachelor of Information Science with a focus on Information Systems and Computer Science from Massey University, completed in 2007.
