Family Pal at Camp Boggy Creek

Miguel Reyes is a Communications Specialist at the Harvard Center for International Development since July 2024, with extensive experience in various roles focused on community support and communication. As a Family Pal at Camp Boggy Creek since September 2018, Miguel helps children with serious illnesses and their families enjoy a safe camp experience. Through the Peace Corps from June 2022 to May 2024, Miguel served as a Media and Communications specialist, producing content and organizing events while adhering to global media policies, and also worked as a Sustainable Agriculture Educator promoting climate-conscious practices. Previous roles include Park Ranger at Honeymoon Island, Sustainable Farming Intern at Fat Beet Farm, Night Auditor at Reitz Union Hotel, Lab/Field Technician at UF Blueberry Breeding and Genomics Lab, and Garden Volunteer with Alachua County Farm To School. Miguel holds a Bachelor of Science in Native Plant Conservation with a minor in Organic and Sustainable Crop Production from the University of Florida.
