Chance Newcomb has extensive experience in youth leadership and safety, currently serving as a Counselor at Camp Longhorn Inks Lake since June 2015. Prior to this role, Chance was a Lifeguard at the YMCA of Greater Houston from March 2015 to August 2016. Chance holds a Bachelor's degree in Energy Management from the University of Oklahoma's Price College of Business, having completed the program between 2016 and 2020.

Camp Longhorn

More than 80 years ago, founders Tex and Pat Robertson created Camp Longhorn on the shores of Inks Lake and made it a camp like no other. Kids have fun all day, gain confidence in themselves, and forge lifelong friendships as they eat, sleep and play together, returning summer after summer. In 1975, Camp Longhorn Indian Springs opened its gates nearby, nestled on scenic property with two private, spring-fed lakes. In 2016, a third branch, C3 on Inks Lake that neighbors the original camp, welcomed children to its shores. Family run, all three camps share the same Camp Longhorn spirit and traditions.
