Camp Mountain Chai
Rachel Shyloski is an experienced Camp Director with a strong background in social work and counseling. Since January 2015, Rachel has held multiple leadership roles at Camp Mountain Chai, including Associate and Assistant Director, and previously served as Director of Camper Care, focusing on behavioral issues and parent communication. Rachel completed a Master's Degree in Social Work from a joint program at NC A&T and UNC-G, and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from the University of North Carolina Asheville. Additional experience includes internships providing health and mental health services to vulnerable populations, facilitating support groups for domestic violence victims, and using a Reggio Emilia approach as a teacher for young children. Rachel's early career also featured roles in developmental therapy and youth leadership.
