Umar Chaudhary began their work experience in 2005 as a Systems Engineer at Raytheon Company, where they focused on engineering programs across multiple business divisions. In 2011, they completed an MBA internship in Corporate Development at Thomson Reuters. From 2012 to 2018, Chaudhary worked as a Manager in Advisory at PwC, managing consulting engagements in M&A and Operations. In 2018, they joined National Grid as a Director of Internal Consultancy, driving strategic initiatives and solving complex business problems. Currently, Chaudhary holds the role of Director of Strategy at CAMP Systems International, Inc., where they drive strategic initiatives in M&A, Partnerships, and Business Development for the aviation management SaaS company.

Umar Chaudhary started their education by pursuing a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Aerospace Engineering at Boston University from 2001 to 2005. After that, they attended Carnegie Mellon University, where they obtained two degrees simultaneously. From 2010 to 2012, they completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree at the Tepper School of Business. During the same period, they also attained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Public Policy and Management from the Heinz College of Information Systems and Public Policy.

In addition to their formal education, Umar Chaudhary obtained a certification in Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) from APICS in May 2013.
