Cynthia Smith

Research Manager at CAMP4 Therapeutics

Cynthia Smith has worked in a variety of research roles since 2012. Cynthia began their career as an Undergraduate Researcher at UC Santa Cruz's Camps Lab in 2012. From 2013 to 2016, they worked as an Assistant Specialist at the Frankel Lab at UCSF and as an IMSD Summer Research in the Yamamoto Lab. In 2016, they joined CAMP4 Therapeutics as a Research Associate, then moved up to Research Scientist, Research Manager, and Senior Research Associate. Cynthia also worked as a Research Associate, Molecular Biology at Twist Bioscience in 2016, where they worked on DNA Library production, Process development (with automation tools), Error correction, Gene assembly, High-throughput gene synthesis, and High-throughput cloning process.

Cynthia Smith earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Molecular, Cell and Developmental Biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz between 2009 and 2013.
