Scott Waldron has worked in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry since 2012. In 2012, they worked as a Co-op Drug Discovery Researcher at GlaxoSmithKline, where they used proprietary bioinformatics screening methods to determine potential hit compounds and synthesized those compounds for further testing. Scott also performed SAR derivatization on existing molecules of interest and utilized a wide variety of instruments to synthesize and purify compounds. In 2014, they worked as a Natural Product Purification Research Assistant at Warp Drive Bio, LLC, where they generated crude material from production batch fermentation extractions for purification chemists, analyzed samples by UPLC-MS, maintained an organized inventory of extracts, and assisted in separation method development and drew up detailed analytical reports of extraction efficiency. From 2015 to 2021, they worked at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals, where they held the roles of Principal Associate Scientist, Senior Associate Scientist, and Research Associate. In 2021, they began working as a Scientist at CAMP4 Therapeutics.
Scott Waldron obtained a Graduate Certificate in Biotechnology Enterprise from Northeastern University in 2021. Scott also obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Chemistry from Northeastern University in 2014.
