Sgt Voogd

Sgt Voogd has extensive experience in law enforcement and military service, currently serving as a Recruiter for the Virginia Army National Guard since June 2021 and as a Deputy Sheriff with the Campbell County Sheriff's Office since June 2019. Additional military service includes a role as an Infantryman in the Army National Guard since March 2015. Prior to these positions, Sgt Voogd worked as a Police Officer for the Liberty University Police Department from October 2016 to May 2019 and as a Deputy Sheriff for Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff in 2015. Education includes a Master's degree in Communication from Liberty University (2020-2023), a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Liberty University (2015-2017), and an Associate's degree in Social Sciences from Laney College (2013-2014). Further professional development includes completion of the Basic Leader Course at the NCO Leadership Center of Excellence and Sergeants Major Academy.
