Charlie Y.

Charlie Y. has extensive work experience in the financial industry. Charlie started their career at Deloitte, where they worked as a Manager from 2000 to 2005. Charlie then moved to RBC Capital Markets in 2006, where they worked as an Associate for a year. In 2007, they joined CIBC Capital Markets as an Associate until 2008. Charlie then transitioned to TD, where they held various roles, including Senior Manager in the Treasury Department Investment Team from 2009 to 2013, and Chief of Staff and Special Assistant to the CEO of TD Asset Management from 2013 to 2016. Charlie joined PING AN in 2016 as a Managing Director until 2017. From 2017 to 2018, Charlie worked as a Managing Director at Fosun. Currently, they are the Managing Director at Campbell Lutyens since 2019.

Charlie Y. obtained an International Baccalaureate degree from Waterford Kamhlaba UWCSA in 1995. They then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science from Queen's University, which they completed in 2000. Additionally, Charlie earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance & Accounting from Queen's University in the same year. They furthered their education by completing a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance from Queen's University in 2005. In 2002, Charlie obtained a certification as a Chartered Professional Accountant from Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada). Charlie's additional certifications include a Securities dealing (type 1) license from Securities and Futures Commission, which they obtained in March 2019, and a Responsible Officer (type 2) license from the same institution in December 2020.
