Nick Demetriades

Nick Demetriades has extensive work experience in the field of environmental market development and product strategy. Nick is currently serving as the Environmental Market Director at Campbell Scientific, Inc. In this role, they are responsible for leading global sales and product strategy for the HydroMet and Aviation Weather markets. Prior to their current position, Nick was the Head of Aviation Digital Solutions at Vaisala from 2017 to 2019, where they oversaw digital solutions for the aviation industry. Nick also held various other roles at Vaisala, including Head of Airports, Offering Portfolio Manager for Airports, and Manager of Meteorological Applications. Nick has a strong background in research and scientific applications, having worked as a Research Scientist and Thunderstorm Applications Specialist early in their career.

Nick Demetriades pursued their education in the field of meteorology. From 1993 to 1997, they attended the State University of New York at Oswego, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Meteorology. Following this, they enrolled at Texas A&M University from 1997 to 1999, where they earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Meteorology.
