Ognyan Begazhev

Ognyan Begazhev has a strong work experience in the maritime industry. Ognyan started their career as a Second Engineer in Ahrenkiel Shipmanagement GmbH in 2005 and continued to work there until 2009 before transitioning to Ahrenkiel Steamship GMBH, where they served as a Chief Engineer until 2012. Ognyan then worked at Tidewater Marine as Chief Engineer from 2012 to 2013 before taking on the role of Chief Engineer on a Private Yacht from 2013 to 2014. In 2015, they worked as a Staff Chief Engineer at Silversea Cruises and as a Relief Chief Engineer at M/Y Rabdan. Ognyan also worked as a Marine Engineer at Royal Caribbean International from 2015 to 2016. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Engineer at Camper & Nicholsons, starting from May 2016.

Ognyan Begazhev's education history includes a Master's Degree in Marine Engineering from the Bulgarian Naval Academy "N.Y.Vaptzarov", which they obtained from 1995 to 2000. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Mathematics School "Dr. Petar Beron" in Varna from 1990 to 1995, specializing in Mathematics and Computer Science.
