Scott Herndon

Scott Herndon has a strong background in software development and management. Scott is currently the Head of Cloud Software at Campfire, where they oversee the development and enhancement of cloud services. Prior to this, Scott worked at PTC, where they served as a Software Development Manager and Principal Software Engineer. In these roles, they led teams, maintained SOC2 certification for cloud services, and developed serverless and container-based components on the AWS platform. Before joining PTC, Scott was a Development Manager and Solutions Architect at PIRCH, where they led an Agile team in the development and maintenance of custom web applications. Scott introduced process improvement initiatives that significantly reduced production time for quotes generated by the PIRCH Advisor application. Scott Herndon has a proven track record of delivering quality services and driving operational excellence within the software industry.

Scott Herndon has a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics, Philosophy, and Economics from UC San Diego. Scott also holds several certifications, including AWS Certified Developer - Associate and AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, obtained in July 2021. Scott is also a Microsoft Certified Professional Developer (MCPD) in Web Development and a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) in .Net Framework 2.0, Web Applications. Additionally, they have a certification in Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute.
