Laurentiu ILIE

Laurentiu ILIE has worked as the Head of Data Engineering at Campings.com since July 2018. Prior to that, from November 2015 to June 2018, they worked as a BI & Big Data Engineer at PhotoBox. Before that, from October 2013 to October 2015, they worked as a Data Engineer at Makazi Group. In April 2013, they were a BI Developer at Score MD, where they were responsible for automating file exchanges with clients, developing database feeding interfaces, and reporting development. Laurentiu also has experience as a Web Developer at Plebicom from May 2012 to August 2012. Additionally, from August 2009 to July 2011, they served as the Treasurer for ELSA Craiova, and from September 2008 to July 2009, they were a member of the Marketing & IT department at the same organization.

Laurentiu ILIE received their education in several institutions and fields of study. Laurentiu started their academic journey at Lycee National "Fratii Buzesti" in Craiova, Romania, where they obtained their Baccalauréat degree in Mathematics and Computer Science, with French as a bilingual subject, from 2004 to 2008.

Laurentiu then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Economic Informatics at the University of Craiova in Romania from 2008 to 2011. Later, they attended the University de Bourgogne in France as an Erasmus student during the academic year 2010-2011, specializing in Economic Sciences and Management.

Laurentiu continued their studies at Université Lumière Lyon in France, where they completed a Master 1 in Computer Science from 2011 to 2012. Following this, they focused on Business Intelligence and Big Data by pursuing a Master 2 in Computer Engineering for Decision Making and Economic Evaluation from 2012 to 2013 at the same university.

Additionally, Laurentiu possesses several certifications in different subjects. These include the Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English/Anglais, a DALF C1 in French, and certifications in "Gestion de Projet" (Project Management) and "Théorie de l'argumentation" (Argumentation Theory) obtained from ELSA Roumanie.

Laurentiu ILIE also participated in the National Olympiad of Economic Informatics.
