Jonathan Milgate

Jonathan Milgate has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Jonathan is currently working as a Non-Executive Director at Dantia since 2022. Previously, they held the position of Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Camplify from 2018 onwards. Jonathan also organized the DevopsDays Newcastle 2018 event. Prior to these roles, Jonathan served as the Head of Development Operations at Anditi Pty Limited, where they played a crucial role in delivering spatial data management solutions. Jonathan has also worked as a Software Delivery Manager at homesales.com.au and Tax Depreciation, overseeing multiple software delivery teams and driving strategic planning. Earlier in their career, Jonathan worked at nib health funds as a Senior Systems and Infrastructure Administrator and at Civica Pty Limited as a Senior Systems Engineer. Jonathan started their career as a Systems Administrator at NSW Health.

Jonathan Milgate's education history begins in 2000 when they enrolled at the University of Newcastle. Jonathan pursued a degree in Information Services and completed their studies in Systems Engineering in 2004.

After a gap in their education, Jonathan continued their academic journey in 2014 at Charles Sturt University. Jonathan pursued a Master's Degree in Business Administration and Management, General, which they successfully completed in 2019.

In 2021, Jonathan attended the MIT Sloan School of Management and focused on Design Thinking. Although they didn't earn a specific degree, they obtained a certification called "Mastering Design Thinking" from the institution in July 2021.

Aside from formal education, Jonathan has also obtained several certifications throughout their career. These certifications include "SCRUM vs LEAN: Agile Methodologies (Short Course)" from Charles Sturt University in November 2013, "CCA - XenApp 5" from Citrix, "Cisco - Data Center Unified Computing Implementation (DCUCI)" from Cisco, "Citrix XenApp 6.5 Advanced Administration (CCAA)" from Citrix, "ITIL - version 3" from the Institute for Information Sciences, and "MCSA" from Microsoft. The exact months and years of obtaining these certifications are unknown.
