Orla Levins FCA has extensive experience in finance and accounting. Orla began their career in 1998 as an Audit Trainee at Brennan Governey & Co, where they were responsible for the preparation and audit of accounts for clients such as farmers, retailers, estate agents, auctioneers, insurance brokers and sole traders. In 2000, they moved to Robert J Kidney & Co. as a Lead Auditor, where they were responsible for auditing in the Manufacturing, Wholesale & Distribution, Public Service & Health Care, Publishing, Media, Recruitment, and Retail industries, as well as preparing financial accounts and training and developing other staff members. In 2006, Orla joined Hilary Haydon & Co. as a Corporate Finance Specialist, where they were involved in the Preparation of business tenders and plans re sale/purchase of pharmacies, Cash flow forecasting and finance reviews, Due Diligence and Property Management, as well as preparing monthly management accounts and audit files. In 2007, they moved to Accenture as a Finance & Accounting Specialist, where they were heavily involved with Corporate Citizenship, Six Sigma, IFRS implementation, Training and Presentations, and leading a team of 3 accountants in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and yearly accounts. In 2012, Orla joined Yelp as an International Accounting Manager, where they implemented AP and GL processes for the start up European Service centre in Dublin, built strategies to transition from a pre IPO company with 3 entities to a publicly traded company with 17 entities in over 30 countries internationally, and led the international finance team with reporting deadlines in line with USGAAP. In 2018, Orla moved to Version 1 as a Finance Integration Manager, where they integrated a newly acquired subsidiary in line with Version 1 processes and procedures, implemented systems to improve accuracy and proficiency and automate several different processes within the finance function from manual processes, and business partnered with business units to create a real and active partnership. Later that year, they joined Pure Storage as an International Accounting Manager, where they developed adequate and effective processes to refine the close cycle, created more accurate reporting by improving on balance sheet reconciliations to audit standards and providing transparency on journal documentation, and lead and participated in brainstorming sessions around accounting procedures. Most recently, in 2022, Orla joined Campsited as a Financial Controller/Head of Finance.

Orla Levins FCA has a comprehensive education history. Orla obtained their Chartered Accountant qualification from ICAI in 2000-2004, followed by an Accounting Technician qualification from IATI in 1998-2000. Orla also completed an ICM Certificate in Business Studies from Dunlaoire Senior College in 1996-1997. Prior to that, they attended Cabinteely Community School from 1990-1996. In 2010-2011, they completed an IFRS Diploma from ICAI. Orla also obtained a Certificate in Counseling Psychology from Dublin Business School in 2009. In 2012, they obtained a Six Sigma Green Belt. More recently, they completed a Diploma in Business Analysis and Change Management in 2018, as well as a Prince 2 Foundation and Practitioner in 2018. Orla also completed CPD courses in Tax for Industry and IFRS 102 in 2014-2016.
