Michael Covello has worked in the software development and engineering field since 2010. In 2010, they were a Research Assistant in Mathematics at Valparaiso University. From 2011 to 2015, they worked as a Teaching Assistant in Mathematics at The University of Iowa and as a Data Analyst for Startup Ventures. In 2015, they became a Logistics Production Planner at Randa Accessories. From 2016 to 2019, they were a Supply Chain Systems Engineer II at SpaceX. Since 2019, they have been a Senior Software Developer and Software Developer at Campspot, where they work on the marketplace project to help people search and book camping vacations.
Michael Covello obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Loyola University Chicago between 2007 and 2011. Michael then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Mathematics from the University of Iowa, which they completed in 2014. In July of 2014, they also obtained a Venture School certification from The University of Iowa.
