Mirabella Olszewski has over 15 years of experience in design and product strategy. Mirabella began their career as a Designer and Owner of byMirabella Design in 2006. In 2011, they worked as a Graphic Designer for the Marion County Public Health Department. From 2012 to 2015, they worked as a Graphic and Web Designer for the Michigan State University College of Education's Office of K-12 Outreach. During this time, they designed and implemented frontend for program websites, created logos, brand guidelines, and supporting print and marketing materials for unique programs while adhering to university visual standards. Mirabella also designed materials for conferences, including digital check-in station, banners, brochures, and booklets. In 2015, they worked as a UX Designer for the Citizen's Interaction Design Team, providing recommendations and design solutions for the city of Jackson, Michigan and its residents. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as a UX Designer for the University of Michigan Health System, improving clinical cancer research through user research and business analysis, and designing and implementing software and center-wide business solutions at a leading cancer center’s informatics core. From 2017 to 2021, they worked as a Product Design Lead and Product Designer for Atomic Object, providing product strategy and user-centered design solutions to over 20 clients around the globe at leading custom software consultancy. In 2021, they began working as a Senior Product Designer for Campspot.
Mirabella Olszewski earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) from Indiana University\u2013Purdue University Indianapolis between 2008 and 2012, majoring in Design and Visual Communications, General. Mirabella then went on to pursue a Masters of Science in Information from the University of Michigan - School of Information, which they completed in 2015, with a focus on Human-Computer Interaction.
