Michael Vienneau has a diverse work experience in the energy industry. Michael is currently working at Campus Energy Partners as the Manager of Operations for LNG. Prior to this role, they worked as an Operations Engineer at the same company. Before joining Campus Energy Partners, Michael worked at WSP in Canada as a Sr. Project Engineer, where they were involved in various notable projects such as increasing the capacity of a gas plant's sulphur recovery unit and integrating a surplus heater into a legacy facility. Michael also worked at Repsol as a Facilities Engineer, overseeing projects at the Edson Gas Plant and coordinating the installation of a pipeline liner. At Plains Midstream Canada, they were a Project Manager responsible for the design and installation of a 10" Frac Plant Loop Line. Michael also served as a Project Manager and provided operations engineering support at Tidewater Midstream and Infrastructure, managing projects such as the delivery of a fractionation facility and a blending project to reduce downstream penalties. Michael's earlier experience includes roles at Cenovus Energy as a Project & Facilities Engineer, where they managed the design and installation of an Alkali Surfactant Polymer facility and facilitated the development of new wells and facilities. Michael also worked as a Facilities Engineer at Canadian Natural Resources Limited, where they collaborated with different teams to define project scope and ensured compliance with regulations and standards. Lastly, Michael worked at DPH Engineering / Focus Corporation as a Project Engineer, responsible for maintaining client liaison, developing project charters, and preparing design documents for detailed engineering.
Michael Vienneau completed their high school education at Norte Dame High School from 1994 to 1997. Michael then pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Alberta from 2001 to 2005. In addition to their formal education, they obtained a certification in "Automate the Boring Stuff with Python Programming" from Udemy Academy in February 2021.
