Donatienne Hissard

Donatienne Hissard has extensive experience in public administration and international cooperation, currently serving as the Director General of Campus France since May 2022, leading a team of over 200 staff to promote French higher education and facilitate foreign student mobility. Prior to this role, Donatienne held various positions at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from September 2004 to May 2022, including deputy director for sustainable development, where responsibilities included team and budget management, and overseeing public policies in developing countries. Additional roles encompassed high-level strategic advising, multilateral negotiations, and management of international development projects. Donatienne's earlier career includes serving as a Front Desk Officer for both the European Commission and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Asia Division, focusing on political relations and policy analysis. Educational qualifications include a master's degree in administration and political science from Sciences Po, a BA in Chinese from Inalco, and a master's degree in French literature from Université Paris-Sorbonne.
