José Medrano López currently serves as a Social Intelligence and Insights Analyst at Campus Sonar, a position held since April 2023. Previously, José worked at NORC at the University of Chicago as a Senior Research Associate I, engaging in quantitative and qualitative research for government and nonprofit clients from November 2020 to March 2023. Additional experience includes a Public Policy Fellowship with Chicago Public Schools, a Policy and Advocacy Summer Fellowship with Advance Illinois, and roles in education as a Bilingual Teacher and Special Education professional. José's foundational experience began with Teach For America and City Year, combined with leadership roles at La Unidad Latina. José holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Indiana University Bloomington, a Master of Arts in Urban Education from Cardinal Stritch University, and a Graduate Certificate in Measurement, Evaluation, Statistics, and Assessment from the University of Illinois Chicago.
