Byron Sayres Cisa, Vca-Dcv

Byron Sayres, CISA, VCA-DCV has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. From 2006 to 2007, they worked as an Information Technology Specialist at Canaan Valley Institute, where they provided end-user support and managed infrastructure devices. Byron then joined the US District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia as an Automation Specialist/Systems Administrator from 2007 to 2010. In this role, they managed a comprehensive technology stack and provided tier 2 support to the district.

In 2010, Byron became the Director of Information Technology at Alderson-Broaddus University, where they were responsible for all technology services, planning, integration, and training. Byron held this position until 2015.

Since 2015, Byron has been working at CampusWorks, Inc. In their earlier role as a Senior Technologist, they were part of the Infrastructure and Cybersecurity team, engaging with diverse clients across the United States. Byron then served as a Portfolio Executive Leader, a Portfolio Director, and now as the Executive Practice Director, Technology Services. CampusWorks is a higher education professional services organization specializing in technology solutions.

Byron Sayres, CISA, VCA-DCV pursued a Business Degree in Computer Information Management with a focus on Management Information Systems and Services at the International Academy of Design and Technology-Chicago. In addition to their degree, Byron has also obtained various certifications including Certified Meraki Network Operator (CMNO) from Cisco Meraki in July 2017, Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) from ISACA in March 2016, and VMware Certified Associate - Data Center Virtualization from VMware in July 2014.
