Yael Andorn

Ms. Andorn is the founder and CEO of CapitalA, provider of customized solutions for global and local investments.

CapitalA partners with global institutions to facilitate long term sustainable relationships; creating visibility, access to deals and public recognition to the brand and to the asset class.

Andorn also serves on the Boards of Directors of public companies including El-Al Airlines, Castro Model and Elron Electronic Industries and has served in the past on private and public boards including Midroog-Moody's Rating, Oil Refineries (Bazan), Retalix, and Clal Health Insurance.

Prior to founding CapitalA Investments, Yael Andorn served as the Director General of Israel’s Ministry of Finance between 2013 and 2015.

As partner at Viola Credit, a tech-oriented PE investment group, between 2012 and 2013, Yael Andorn oversaw customized credit solutions for technology and energy-focused companies, based on secured loans considering interest and equity component to enhance growth and limit dilution.

Between 2005 and 2011 Yael Andorn served as CEO at Amitim, one of Israel’s largest institutional long term savings entity, with over $50BN AUM. Furthermore, she served on the investment and credit committees. She was also appointed by the Commissioner of Capital Markets to plan and execute reconstruction of distressed pension fund, leading a major reconstruction plan in the fund and then selling it to a leading investment house in Israel.

Earlier in her career, Yael Andorn held several positions at Israel’s Ministry of Finance Budget Department, as well positions with Bank of Israel and IDF 8200 Intelligence Unit.

Yael Andorn holds a Bachelor of Economics as well as a Master in Business Administration from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and completed the JFK School of Government Program for Local Authorities and Government Officials at Harvard Kennedy School.
