Jon U Garay Alonso

Jon U Garay Alonso has had extensive experience in finance and leadership roles throughout their career. Jon U is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Camurus since February 2022. Prior to this, they held various positions at Baxter International Inc., including Europe Finance Director - Pharmaceuticals & Medication Delivery from January 2019 to February 2022 and UKI & Nordic Finance Director from April 2015 to December 2018. Jon U also served as a Member of the Board of Directors at Genomica AB (Zeltia Group) from December 2012 to June 2019. Before that, they held the role of Vice President Finance & Business Control EMEA at Gambro from October 2012 to April 2015. Prior to joining Gambro, Jon served as the Unomedical CFO - Nordic Region Finance Director at ConvaTec from January 2010 to October 2012. Jon U also gained valuable experience at Bristol-Myers Squibb, where they held the positions of Iberia Finance Hub Director & Portugal FD from November 2006 to January 2010 and Iberia Finance Analysis & Planning Director from December 2004 to November 2006. Jon's career began at Ericsson España S.A., where they worked as the Iberia Finance Analysis Director from July 2003 to December 2004 and as the Iberia Forecast Manager from January 2002 to June 2003.

Jon U Garay Alonso attended the University of Deusto from 1991 to 1996, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics with a field of study in Business Administration. In 2001, they enrolled in the IESE Business School and completed an Executive MBA program, specializing in Business Administration. In 2009, Jon attended the IESE Business School once again, completing the General Management Program and receiving a PDG degree. From 2017 to 2018, Jon participated in the EFL - Executive Education program, focusing on the Partner Mentor Program as a mentor.
