Maha Ibrahim

Maha Ibrahim is a General Partner at Canaan Partners, an early-stage venture capital firm with $5 billion under management, since March 2000. In addition, Maha serves as a Board Member for Deckers Brands and Major League Baseball Players, Inc., and is a member of the Board of Trustees for the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, where responsibilities include chairing the Investment Committee. Other notable roles include Chairperson of the Stanford Athletics DAPER Lodato Fund and past membership on the Board of Directors for the National Venture Capital Association. Maha has also held board positions with companies such as The RealReal, Kabam, Metacloud, and Virsto Software. Education includes a PhD in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and both a Master of Arts in Sociology and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Stanford University.
