Greg Drazenovic has extensive work experience in technology and infrastructure roles. Greg started their career in 1991 as part of the Royal Westminster Regiment in the Canadian Armed Forces, serving in the infantry until 1996. Greg then joined TELUS in 1996 as a Technology Architect, where they worked until 2002. From 2002 to 2003, they served as a Technology Architect at FortisBC. In 2004, they transitioned to Vancouver Coastal Health as a Messaging Architect for a brief period. Later in 2004, they joined Canaccord Genuity Group Inc., where they currently hold the position of SVP, Head of Enterprise Infrastructure, Operations, and Cybersecurity.
Greg Drazenovic has an extensive education history. Greg obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology from 2018 to 2021. Prior to that, they attended the Beedie School of Business at Simon Fraser University from 2016 to 2018, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Business Administration and Management.
In 2010, Greg completed the Partners, Directors, and Senior Officers Course (PDO) at CSI. Before that, they attended the British Columbia Institute of Technology, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from 2002 to 2005. Greg also obtained a Diploma in Information Technology from the same institute from 1993 to 1995.
In addition to their formal education, Greg Drazenovic has several certifications. Greg obtained the Certified Information Systems Manager (CISM) certification from ISACA in September 2017. Greg also earned the Certified Information Systems Auditor® (CISA) certification from ISACA in November 2016. Furthermore, they achieved the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)² in May 2016.
