Haoran W. (Ryan)

Haoran (Ryan) W. has a diverse work experience in the financial and research sectors. Haoran(Ryan) started their career as a Research Development Project Engineer at Defence Research and Development Canada in January 2017, where they worked until August of the same year. Haoran(Ryan) then joined CI Financial as a Financial Accountant in April 2017 and worked there until April 2019. In April 2019, Haoran joined BMO Financial Group as a Senior Analyst, focusing on Structual Market Risk. Haoran(Ryan) held this role until June 2021. Currently, Haoran works at Canaccord Genuity Group Inc. as a Business Analyst, specializing in Risk and Treasury.

Haoran (Ryan) W. completed a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Financial Engineering at the University of Toronto from 2016 to 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science, Economics, and Mathematics, also from the University of Toronto, from 2012 to 2016. Moreover, they completed the Data Visualization, Fundamentals of Quantitative Modeling, and Excel/VBA for Creative Problem Solving certifications from Coursera in May 2015 and February 2015, respectively.
