Jamie Brown

Jamie Brown is an accomplished finance and business professional with extensive experience in leadership roles. Currently serving as Vice Chairman at Canaccord Genuity Group Inc. since April 2015, Jamie also holds the position of Director at the Vancouver Art Gallery, starting in July 2021, and is a long-standing member of YPO since July 2010. Prior experience includes serving as Director at BC Hydro and Powerex from June 2008 to December 2017, and as Managing Partner at Difference Capital Financial Inc. from April 2013 to January 2015. Jamie's earlier career featured a significant tenure as Vice Chair at Canaccord Genuity Inc. from February 1997 to April 2013. Jamie holds the designation of Chartered Business Valuator from the Canadian Institute of Chartered Business Valuators (2001-2005) and has a degree from McGill University (1986-1990). Education was also received from St. George's School (1979-1986) and the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management.
