John Pinney

John Pinney has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. John started their career as an intern at Wealthspire Advisors in 2012. John then worked as an Associate at Pinney, Stone & Company in 2013. Following that, they served as an Operations Specialist at UBS Wealth Management from 2014 to 2020. In 2021, they worked as a Summer Associate at Nashville Capital Network. Currently, they hold the position of Equity Research Associate at Canaccord Genuity Group Inc., where they started in 2022 and has since been promoted to the role of Senior Equity Research Associate.

John Pinney earned their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics from Vanderbilt University, completing their education from 2009 to 2013. Prior to that, they attended The Lawrenceville School from 2005 to 2009. Recently, from 2020 to 2022, they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Vanderbilt University's Owen Graduate School of Management. In addition to their formal education, John Pinney holds certifications such as Series 7, Series 63, Series 86, and Series 87, all obtained from FINRA.
