Ilich Gomez

Ilich Gomez is a skilled graphic designer and animator with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the College for Creative Studies, obtained in 2019. Currently serving as the Lead BG Designer for the short film "Nobody Needs Any of This" at the Canada Council for the Arts since April 2023, Ilich collaborates closely with director Mike Melanson to establish the film's visual style. Previously, Ilich has worked as a Marketing & Graphic Design Artist at Dutton Farm, creating labels and advertisements for events benefiting adults with special needs. Experience also includes a freelance role as a Visual Development Artist for the YouTube pilot "Angel Blood," and positions in animation and design at WITNESS and the College for Creative Studies Advertisement Department.
