James En

James Missen has accumulated extensive experience in arts program management and policy analysis, currently serving as a Program Officer for the Explore and Create Program (Music and Sound) at the Canada Council for the Arts since June 2015. Prior roles include program officer positions across various sections at the Canada Council for the Arts and an analyst position with the Government of Canada. Additionally, James has worked as a writer, researcher, and advisor in self-employed capacities. James holds a Master’s degree in Film Studies from Carleton University and a BFA Honours in Film Studies (Screenwriting) from York University.
