Melinda Mollineaux

Melinda Mollineaux is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the arts sector, currently serving as a Policy and Planning Officer at the Canada Council for the Arts since June 1999. In this role, Melinda prepares and coordinates strategic documents for senior management, provides policy advice, and leads engagement processes to address key issues in the arts environment. Previously, Melinda held positions as a Program Officer, managing national funding programs, and as Coordinator for the Equity Office, focusing on corporate equity policies and multicultural funding initiatives. In addition to a robust career in policy and program management, Melinda is a visual artist with a history of exhibitions, reviews, and curriculum development related to contemporary art practice. Melinda holds multiple degrees, including an MBA and an MSc in International Business, as well as an MFA in Photography and a BA in Visual Arts and Psychology.
