Michael A. O'Neill is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in public administration and policy development. Currently serving as the Director of Policy and Strategic Engagement at the Canada Foundation for Innovation since December 2020, O'Neill leads policy initiatives and builds strategic relationships in research partnerships. Concurrently, O'Neill holds the position of Adjunct Lecturer in Public Administration and Public Policy at the Université d'Ottawa, designing and teaching courses while engaging in academic research. Previous roles include Senior Director at the Institute on Governance and Policy Advisor at OECD, where O'Neill contributed to public governance analysis and training initiatives. With a solid academic background, including a Ph.D. from the University of Warwick, O'Neill has been actively involved in higher education and has published extensively on related topics.
