Navid Hossaini

Navid Hossaini, PhD, PEng, serves as the Principal and CEO of Recollective Consulting since June 2013, where responsibilities include creating and executing the organization’s vision and overall strategy, overseeing operations, and developing sustainability strategies for high-performance buildings. In addition, Navid holds roles as Senior Green Building Strategist and Director of R&D at CAGBC and as an instructor on LEED and Zero Carbon Building Standards. Previous teaching experiences include instructing on Passive House and High-Performance Building Standards at Brighton College and serving as a Research Assistant and Lecturer at The University of British Columbia. Navid's research background includes positions at Masdar and BuroHappold Engineering, complemented by a robust educational foundation with a PhD in Sustainable Engineering and a Master's in Civil Engineering from The University of British Columbia, as well as a Bachelor's in Civil/Structural Engineering from American University of Sharjah.
