Angela Jonsson

Angela Jonsson currently serves as the Executive Vice President of Public Affairs, Corporate Strategy, and Communications at Canada Health Infoway since July 2019. Previous roles include Vice President of Public Affairs & Corporate Strategy and Chief of Staff, as well as Senior Director positions in Public Affairs and Stakeholder Engagement. Angela has also contributed to public health as a member of the Board of Health for the City of Toronto from April 2015 to December 2022. Prior to Canada Health Infoway, Angela held various positions at the Ontario Medical Association, Government of Canada, and the Toronto District School Board, along with involvement in political campaigns, including the Barack Obama Primary Campaign. Angela's educational background consists of a degree in Public Administration from Toronto Metropolitan University, Executive Education in Public Leadership from the Harvard Kennedy School, and a degree in Political Science from the University of Toronto.
