Michael Green has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and organizations. Michael served as the President and CEO of Canada Health Infoway since August 2014. Michael is also a Board Member of HIMSS North America since January 2019 and kids helpphone since December 2018. Prior to that, they held various roles at Agfa Healthcare, including President and CEO of the Americas Region from September 2011 to July 2014. Michael has also held leadership positions at the Information Technology Association of Canada, Agfa Gevaert ltd, boehringer mannheim ltd, and Beckman Coulter.

Michael Green's education history begins in 1967 at Ingram High, where they attended until 1972. During this time, they did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study. From 1973 to 1976, they enrolled in London Metropolitan University, pursuing a degree in clinical biochemistry. Green's next educational endeavor took place from 2016 to 2017 at the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management. Here, they completed the Directors Education program with a focus on board governance. In addition to their formal education, Green obtained the ICD.D certification from the Institute of Corporate Directors in October 2017.
