Tim Crits has a diverse work experience in the aviation industry. Tim currently holds the position of Director of Flight Operations at Canada Jetlines, where they are responsible for the overall management of flight operations. Prior to this, they worked as Manager of Pilot Training and Standards at the same company, where they developed training programs for the Airbus A320 and assisted with the launch of flight operations.
Previously, Tim served as System Chief Pilot at Pivot Airlines for two years, overseeing pilot operations. Tim also worked as a Professor at Seneca College for a brief period.
Tim's longest tenure was at Air Georgian Limited, where they held various roles over a span of more than 20 years. Tim served as System Chief Pilot, fulfilling regulatory and flight operations oversight for the company's fleet. Tim also worked as a Project Manager and 704/705 Standards Captain, maintaining high flight crew standards and overseeing training programs. Additionally, Tim worked as Chief Pilot of the Beechcraft 1900 and as a Captain for the Samaritan Air Pilatus PC12.
Tim Crits attended Sault College from 1995 to 1998, where they obtained a Diploma in Aviation Technology. In addition to their formal education, Tim has also obtained several certifications from Transport Canada. Tim became an Airline Transport Pilot in 2000, achieved the status of an Approved Check Pilot in 2008, and later became an Approved Check Pilot Course Provider in 2011. So far, the obtained month for the certifications from Transport Canada is unknown.
