Arun Paul FSA, MAAA

Arun Paul began their work experience in 2005 at Citi as a Market Data Specialist. From 2009 to 2013, they worked at Och-Ziff Capital Management as a Reference Data Analyst. Arun then transitioned to MIB Solutions, Inc. in 2014 and served as an Actuarial Analyst until 2016. Arun joined Transamerica in 2016 as an Actuarial Associate and remained there until 2019. Arun then joined Prudential Financial as an Associate Actuary and worked until 2022. Currently, Arun is employed at Canada Life Reinsurance as a Pricing Actuary. In addition to their professional roles, they also assumed the position of President of the Board of Directors for the South Asian Network of Actuaries in 2021.

Arun Paul FSA, MAAA received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Computer Science from Rutgers University - Newark from 2001 to 2005. Later, from 2013 to 2015, they pursued a Master's degree in Actuarial Science at Columbia University. Arun Paul has also obtained additional certifications, including becoming a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) from the Society of Actuaries in December 2021 and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA) from the American Academy of Actuaries in August 2017.
