Ying Zhang, FSA

Ying Zhang, FSA, has a diverse work experience, with a focus on actuarial roles in the insurance industry. They began their career in 2006 as an Associate Actuary at Independence Blue Cross, where they worked for five years. From 2011 to 2015, they served as a Senior Actuarial Specialist at Chubb Insurance. Following this, they joined Munich Health North America as a Senior Actuary, where they were employed for five years. From 2020 to 2022, Ying Zhang worked as a Senior Actuary at Renaissance Reinsurance U.S. Inc. They then moved on to Chubb in 2022 as a Pricing Actuary, and their most recent position is at Canada Life Reinsurance, also as a Pricing Actuary, starting in 2023.

Ying Zhang, FSA, completed a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from Tianjin University from 1989 to 1993. Ying then pursued further studies at Temple University, where they obtained a Master's Degree in Statistics from 1996 to 1999.
