Jared Smith

Jared Smith is a dedicated professional in community engagement and museum programming, currently serving as Officer for Community Engagement and Special Events at Ingenium since April 2018. In this role, Jared plans and evaluates various museum activities while fostering partnerships with stakeholders. Previously, Jared held positions as Assistant in Education and Interpretation, where key accomplishments included collaborating on a successful youth program and leading innovative programming such as the "Haunted Hangar." Experience spans multiple roles in various museums, including Team Leader at Citadelle de Québec- Musée Royal 22e Régiment and Guide-Cashier, as well as guiding tours for Cicerone Tours. Jared holds a graduate diploma in Muséologie from Université Laval and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Acadia University.
