Mirik Uhlik

Mirik Uhlik has extensive experience in technology risk governance and control, serving as VP and Head of Technology Risk Governance and Control at Canada Life from November 2021 to August 2023, and previously as AVP of Technology Risk. Prior to this role, Mirik worked as Senior Manager of IT Governance, Risk, and Compliance and Business Continuity Planning at Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP) from February 2015 to November 2021. Mirik's earlier career includes positions at TD, where roles spanned Senior Audit Group Manager for IT Applications Audit to Senior IT Auditor, and a tenure at Deloitte as a Senior Consultant. Mirik holds an MBA in Finance and Accounting from the University of Windsor's Odette School of Business and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science with a focus on Computer Information Systems from the University of Windsor.
