Tong Qiu

Tong Qiu is a seasoned actuarial professional with extensive experience in the financial services sector. Currently serving as a Senior Actuarial Assistant at Canada Life since August 2021, Tong has previously held positions as an Actuarial Analyst at Quilter and an Actuarial Trainee at Old Mutual Wealth. Tong's career began at Bank of China, where responsibilities included monitoring bank statements for risk management and ensuring compliance with anti-money laundering regulations. Tong also completed an internship at Bank of China that involved reviewing qualifications for credit applications. Tong holds a Master's degree in Insurance from Cass Business School and a BSc in Actuarial Science and Mathematics from The University of Manchester.
