Bernice Tsoi

Bernice Tsoi has a diverse work experience in the field of health economics and research. Bernice began their career as a Junior Compliance Coordinator at Health Canada in 2008. Bernice then worked as a Health Economics and Reimbursement Associate at Janssen-Ortho in 2009. In the same year, they also joined McMaster University as a Research Assistant. Bernice then interned as a Reimbursement Intern at Medtronic in 2011. Bernice continued their work at McMaster University as a Doctoral Research Associate in the Department of Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics from 2011 to 2015. During this time, they conducted and published peer-reviewed studies on various health economic topics and collaborated with pharmaceutical companies for strategic support. Bernice joined CADTH in 2015 as a Health Economist, where they constructed economic models of non-pharmaceutical health technologies and participated in multiple research projects. Bernice then served as the Lead Health Economist and Manager, Health Economics, making valuable contributions such as prioritizing topics for health technology assessment and proposing research designs.
